Brambuk the National Park & Cultural Centre, located in Halls Gap, serves as the gateway to the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park. Established in 1990, it is owned and operated by five Aboriginal communities with historic ties to the region. The centre offers visitors insights into the culture and history of the Jardwadjali and Djab Wurrung peoples through interactive displays, traditional stories, art, music, dance, and photographs. The award-winning building's design symbolizes the open wings of a cockatoo, reflecting the area's natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy the Bush Tucker Café, which serves native Australian cuisine, and explore the gift shop for authentic Indigenous products. Self-guided, wheelchair-friendly walks through the wetlands and native gardens provide glimpses of local wildlife. The centre also offers guided tours to nearby Aboriginal rock-art sites, enriching the cultural experience. Brambuk is open seven days a week, except Christmas Day, and is a must-visit destination for those seeking to connect with the rich heritage of the Grampians region.
