Located in Bowraville, New South Wales, the Bowraville Folk Museum showcases the rich history of the Nambucca Valley. Housed in a historic building that once served as a general store and later as the Voluntary Defence Corps headquarters during World War II, the museum features diverse exhibits, including a log cabin, a relocated Presbyterian Church, and a blacksmith's forge. Notably, it houses the set from the locally filmed "The Umbrella Woman," starring Bryan Brown, Rachel Ward, and Sam Neill. The museum also boasts the Eve Knight lapidary collection, displaying a variety of rocks and crystals. A dedicated Children's Museum encourages young visitors to explore historical artifacts. Open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and weekends during NSW school holidays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
