
Bowmans is a rural locality in South Australia's Mid North region, approximately 125 kilometers north of Adelaide. Situated within the Wakefield Regional Council, it encompasses an area of 64.31 square kilometers and has a population of 56 residents. The area is primarily engaged in cereal, hay, and sheep farming. Historically, Bowmans was a station on the Port Wakefield-Hoyles Plains tramway, which began in 1870. Today, it is traversed by the Adelaide-Port Augusta railway line and the Port Wakefield-Auburn Road (Route B84).
