Established in July 1972, Bournda Nature Reserve spans 5,862 hectares of diverse coastal landscapes, including beaches, cliffs, and estuaries. The reserve is home to approximately 200 bird species, including threatened species like the little tern, hooded plover, and pied oystercatcher. Visitors can enjoy activities such as walking, birdwatching, and picnicking. The reserve is open year-round, with park entry fees of $8 per vehicle per day.
