Nestled at 78 Hampton Street in Bridgetown, Scotts Tavern is a historic establishment that has been a cornerstone of the local community for over a century. Originally known as the Farmers' Home Hotel, it was constructed in 1876 and is recognized as the oldest remaining public house in Bridgetown. The building's distinctive architecture, featuring a splayed corner at the intersection of Hampton and Stewart streets, adds to its charm. Over the years, Scotts Tavern has undergone several renovations, including a significant update in 2015 that transformed the pool room into a lounge and the lounge bar into a dining room, blending contemporary design with its rich heritage.
