
Bordertown Recreation Lake, established in 1988, offers a serene environment with a 0.8 km walking trail encircling the lake, featuring public artworks like the Crooked Tank, Horse Fence, and Sluice Gates. Visitors can enjoy fishing for yabbies, redfin, and perch, or canoeing; swimming is not permitted. The area provides picnic facilities, including a shelter and electric BBQs, as well as toilets and a caravan dump point. Camping is allowed for up to three nights at a rate of $10 per day, with a self-pay station on-site.
