Boranup Forest, nestled within the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, showcases towering karri trees, some exceeding 60 meters in height. The forest's undulating landscape is adorned with wildflowers, orchids, and fungi during spring, creating a vibrant tapestry of colors. Accessible via Caves Road, the Karri Lookout offers panoramic views of the forest and the turquoise waters of Hamelin Bay. Boranup Drive, suitable for two-wheel drive vehicles, winds through the forest, providing a scenic route that loops back to Caves Road. Along this drive, visitors can enjoy bushwalking trails, picnic spots, and a small campground with seven sites. The area is also home to diverse bird species, including the Purple-crowned Lorikeet and the Splendid Fairy-wren.
