Along Allyn River Road in Upper Allyn, a unique display unfolds as hundreds of shoes and boots adorn the fence of a farming property. This collection, known as "Boot Hill," began with a few old shoes and a handmade sign, and has since expanded to approximately 1,000 footwear items from around the world. Visitors often add their own shoes, contributing to this evolving piece of organic public art. The display stretches over a kilometer, offering a whimsical and free-spirited sight for travelers. It's a delightful stop, especially when exploring nearby attractions like Ladies Well, Mount Allyn, or the Chichester State Forest.
