Boors Plain is a rural locality at the northern end of South Australia's Yorke Peninsula, situated east of Moonta and south of Kadina. Established in January 1999, it was named after James Boor, a shepherd who discovered copper leading to the Wallaroo Mines. The area is primarily zoned for agricultural production and livestock grazing on large holdings. Historically, Boors Plain featured a village, a limestone quarry supplying materials for local mines, and a Methodist Church (1873-1967), now marked by a memorial cairn. The Bald Hill 1864 Miners' Strike Site, located in the west of Boors Plain, is listed on the South Australian Heritage Register.
