Boorara

Boorara is a small town in Western Australia's Goldfields region, approximately 17 kilometers southeast of Kalgoorlie. Established in 1897, it was gazetted as a townsite during the late 19th-century gold rush. The town's name is of Aboriginal origin, though its exact meaning remains unknown. As of the 2021 national census, the population of Boorara was 935 people, with a median age of 36 years.
