Venue

Boorara Brook, WA

Nestled in Boorara-Gardner National Park, the Boorara Tree stands as a historic fire lookout from the 1950s. While the original cabin atop the 71-meter-tall karri tree was removed due to safety concerns, a replica cabin on the ground allows visitors to experience the lookout's perspective. A 5-kilometer return trail meanders through lush karri and marri forests, leading to the picturesque Lane Poole Falls, where the Canterbury River cascades 12 meters over granite rocks into foaming pools. This serene spot offers a perfect setting for picnicking and bird watching.
