Embark on a challenging 17km loop through Warrumbungle National Park's rugged terrain, ascending to the summit of Bluff Mountain. This steep hike rewards experienced bushwalkers with panoramic views of the park's volcanic peaks, including Mount Exmouth and Tonduron Spire. The trail features sections with loose rock and numerous steps, requiring a high level of fitness and technical skill. Along the way, pass by Balor Hut and Dows campgrounds, ideal for overnight stays. Remember to bring at least 2L of water, as drinking water is scarce in the park.
