Bluewater Quay

Bluewater Quay, affectionately known as Mackay's 'town square on the river,' stretches nearly 250 meters along the Pioneer River. Built around the historic Leichhardt Tree, a significant meeting point for early migrants, the quay offers a vibrant space for both residents and visitors. Amenities include a children's water-play area, playground, entertainment stage, picnic and barbecue facilities, viewing and fishing platforms, public artworks, and a boardwalk.
