Located in the historic township of Blanchetown, the Blanchetown State Emergency Service (SES) Unit is a dedicated team of 21 volunteers committed to community safety. Operating from Egerton Street, they provide essential services including general rescue, flood and storm damage response, land and marine search operations, reconnaissance, and road crash rescue. Training sessions are held on the first and third Monday of each month at 7 pm, welcoming new members to join their ranks. For emergencies, contact 132 500; for life-threatening situations, dial 000.
