
Blackbutt Forest Reserve, located in Shellharbour, NSW, is a 110-hectare natural woodland reserve and the largest of its kind in the Illawarra region. It features diverse walking trails offering panoramic views of Lake Illawarra, Macquarie Pass, the Illawarra Escarpment, and Saddleback Mountain. The reserve provides extensive picnic areas, barbecue facilities, children's playgrounds, and an amphitheatre suitable for outdoor events.
