Established in 1926, Birchs Bay Cherries is a family-owned orchard located at 3644 Channel Highway, Birchs Bay, Tasmania. Spanning 51 acres, the orchard boasts nearly 10,000 cherry trees, producing approximately 100 tons of premium cherries annually. The cherries, ranging from 26mm to 34mm in diameter, are cultivated without the use of chemical ripeners or preservatives, ensuring natural and healthy fruit. Visitors can enjoy a variety of agri-tourism events, including the Cherry Blossom Festival and Cherry Tree Adoption, all set against the backdrop of stunning sea views unique to the region.
