Bingara Office & Depot - NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service

The Bingara Office & Depot of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is situated at 42 Heber Street, Bingara, NSW 2404. This facility serves as a base for NPWS staff managing the Barwon Area, which encompasses 41 parks, including parts of the Nandewar Range, Kaputar National Park, Warrabah National Park, and internationally recognized wetlands such as Narran Lakes and Gwydir Wetlands. The depot supports various conservation and land management activities, including fire planning, visitor safety, environmental assessment, and threatened species conservation. The Area Manager oversees up to 31 staff based in Narrabri, Bingara, and remote depots at Narran Lakes NR, Budelah NR, and Gwydir Wetlands SCA.
