The Bingara Museum, housed in the original 1860 Post Office Hotel, showcases the town's rich history through its diverse exhibits. The main building, constructed from local cypress timber, features a blacksmith's shop where bushranger Fred Ward, known as Thunderbolt, frequently had his horse shod. The museum also displays an extensive collection of horse-drawn equipment, farming implements, photographs, and geological specimens. Adjacent to the main building, the relocated Boonda one-teacher school offers insight into early rural education. Visitors can explore these historical artifacts and learn about Bingara's heritage in a well-preserved setting.
