Billimina Shelter, located in the Grampians National Park, is a significant Aboriginal rock art site featuring over 2,500 motifs, primarily red ochre bar strokes. These markings, arranged in horizontal rows, are believed to have been used by the Jardwadjali people to record events or the duration of their stays. Archaeological excavations in 1976 uncovered stone tools and remains of plant and animal foods, indicating that groups camped here from late winter to early summer, hunting kangaroos and small mammals, and collecting emu eggs and freshwater mussels. The shelter also displays depictions of emus, kangaroos, emu tracks, and 55 human stick figures. Accessible via a 2.2 km return walk from Buandik Picnic Ground, the trail follows Billimina Creek upstream to Buandik Falls, offering a rich cultural and natural experience.
