
Bicton Men's Shed, located at 1 Carrington Street, Palmyra, WA 6157, is a vibrant community hub where men of all ages gather to engage in woodworking, metalworking, and various creative projects. Established in 2010, the shed has grown to approximately 55 members and offers a range of activities, including operating a CNC router, laser engraver, and 3D printer. Members undertake personal projects and contribute to community initiatives, such as crafting nesting bird boxes for the Melville Council Environmental Centre and creating wooden graduation crosses for Notre Dame University. The shed operates on Mondays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Annual membership fees are $110, which cover insurance, equipment use, and social events.
