Established in the 1980s and revitalized in 2007, Bicheno Surf Life Saving Club is a vibrant community hub on Tasmania's east coast. The club offers a range of activities, including Junior Activities (Nippers), water safety programs, Bronze Medallion and SRC training, and patrols at Waubs Bay Beach during summer. Notably, it hosts the annual "Devil of a Swim," featuring 1km, 2km, and 5km open water events. In 2024, the club was honored with the "Club of the Year" award at the Surf Life Saving Tasmania Awards of Excellence.
