Nestled in 16 hectares of serene bushland at the foothills of the Blue Mountains, the Benedict XVI Retreat Centre offers a tranquil sanctuary for reflection and spiritual growth. The centre features a magnificent Romanesque chapel with traditional pew seating for up to 150 people, providing a peaceful space for Mass, reflection, and prayer. Accommodation includes the Our Lady of the Southern Cross Rooms, accommodating 74 people over two storeys, and the Help of Christians Rooms, accommodating 76 people over one storey with level access. Guests can enjoy extensive recreational facilities, including tennis and basketball courts, a beach volleyball court, swimming pool, and large playing fields for cricket, rugby, and soccer. Tailored facilitated activity programs are available, such as flying fox and archery. The centre is approximately 70 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, 50 minutes from Parramatta’s CBD, and 1.5 hours from Wollongong’s CBD.
