Bendethera Valley campground

Nestled in Deua National Park, Bendethera Valley Campground offers a serene retreat along the Deua River. The area boasts abundant swimming spots, ideal for families and water enthusiasts. Birdwatchers can observe a variety of species, while the surrounding landscape is adorned with Bendethera wattle blooms in spring and occasional morning mists in winter. The campground provides picnic tables, wood barbecues (firewood not supplied), and non-flush toilets. Please note, there are no marked sites, and it's a remote location, so arrive well-prepared. A $6 booking fee applies; camping is free. Access requires a 4WD vehicle, and river crossings may be impassable during rain.
