Ben Halls Gap Nature Reserve, established in December 1995, spans 3,018 hectares in the northern tablelands of New South Wales. This protected area is renowned for its ancient eucalyptus forests and diverse ecosystems, including cool temperate rainforests with sphagnum moss communities. Access is limited to preserve its pristine environment, with visits primarily through guided tours and educational programs. The reserve is located approximately 60 kilometers southeast of Tamworth and 10 kilometers from Nundle. For more information, contact the Scone office at 02 6540 2300.
