Syred's Cottage, located in Bejoording, Western Australia, is a historic homestead built around 1860 by William Edward Syred and his wife, Frances. Constructed from mud bricks made near a spring, the original three-room dwelling was expanded to accommodate their ten children. The stone front verandah slabs were hewn from granite rock behind the cottage. In 1897, a mud-bat school was established nearby, serving the local community for a short period. The homestead is now part of the Bejoording Homestead Complex and Central Square, a heritage-listed site.
