Established in the 1880s, Bega Rifle Club Inc. is one of the oldest sporting clubs in the district, offering a range of shooting disciplines including Target Rifle, FClass, Sporting/Hunter Class, and Rimfire Target Shooting. Competitions are held every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm at their range on Reedy Swamp Road, Tarraganda, adjacent to the Bega Golf Club. The club is affiliated with the NSW Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association of Australia. New shooters are welcome and can arrange a visit by contacting the club in advance.
