The Battery Point Sculpture Trail is a captivating self-guided walk through Hobart's historic Battery Point, featuring nine large numerical sculptures that narrate the area's rich history. Each sculpture represents a significant date, weight, measure, or distance, offering insights into Hobart's past. The trail begins at Salamanca Place and winds through Battery Point to Marieville Esplanade, taking approximately an hour to complete. Along the way, visitors can enjoy picturesque views of the Derwent River and explore some of the city's oldest surviving residences. The trail is open year-round and is free to the public.
