Nestled on the banks of Lake Bonney in Barmera, the Barmera Aquatics Centre offers a diverse range of water-based activities for students. Operated by qualified instructors from the Department of Education Water Safety Team, the centre provides programs such as surf education for younger students and small boat handling, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing, knee boarding, and water skiing for older students. For senior students, the centre offers windsurfing and sailing sessions, as well as creek camping trips focused on kayaking and canoeing. The centre operates during school terms and is accessible via the Lake Bonney Yacht Club.
