Nestled in Nuriootpa's main street, Barista Sista Coffee Roasters is a family-owned boutique roastery and café. Passionate coffee lovers Nigel and Diana Wheeler began their journey in 2011, transitioning from their previous careers to the world of coffee. They opened their café in 2012, and their dedication to the craft led them to small-batch roasting, using high-altitude specialty grade Arabica beans, some certified organic. Their House Blend earned a bronze medal in the 2019 Golden Bean Awards. The café offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with an open fireplace for winter and a secret garden for warmer months. The menu features gluten-free, raw, and vegan options, with many treats baked on-site. Open Monday to Friday, 7 am to 2 pm, the café is closed on weekends and public holidays.
