Bare Knoll Campsite, nestled along the Cape Pillar Track in Tasmania's Tasman National Park, offers a serene retreat for hikers. Approximately 400 meters beyond the Wughalee Falls turnoff, this campsite features eight dedicated tent platforms and a toilet facility. Due to limited capacity, reservations are not accepted; visitors are encouraged to arrive early. As natural water sources are unreliable, it's advisable to carry sufficient water. The campsite is accessible via the Old Cape Pillar Track, a 30 km return journey or a 35 km circuit incorporating Mount Fortescue and Cape Hauy. This Grade 3 bushwalk requires some bushwalking experience, as tracks may have short steep hill sections, a rough surface, and many steps.
