The west side is designed for recreational vessels, featuring Mediterranean-style boat pens, a two-lane boat ramp, and ample car and trailer parking. Summy’s Park, located on the west side, provides public toilets, BBQ facilities, and a fish cleaning station. The harbour's calm, protected beaches are popular with families, and nearby islands and reefs offer excellent exploration opportunities.
