Nestled in Red Hill South, Avani Wines is a family-owned winery renowned for its premium cool-climate wines. Established by Shashi and Devendra Singh, the winery emphasizes minimal intervention winemaking, allowing each wine to authentically reflect its vineyard site and growing season. The rustic cellar door offers seated wine tastings of their signature Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and skin-contact varieties, accommodating small groups up to eight. Overlooking the estate vineyard, the Cellar Kitchen, led by Shashi's daughter Retu, serves an Indian-inspired share-style menu, enhancing the wine tasting experience. Open Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, Avani Wines was honored as Gourmet Traveller's Best Small Cellar Door for Mornington in 2022.
