Avalon Beach

Avalon Beach, located on the north side of Corio Bay, offers a tranquil coastal retreat with a 2-kilometer stretch of sandy shoreline. The beach features a foreshore reserve, several houses, fishing shacks, and numerous jetties and rock groynes. Tidal sand flats extend into the bay, becoming exposed at low tide. The area is also home to the Avalon Wetland, a renowned bird-watching spot providing habitat for migratory birds, waterfowl, and endangered species. Amenities include a boat ramp, public toilets, and ample parking facilities.
