
Located in Oakey, Queensland, the Australian Army Flying Museum showcases a vast collection of aircraft and memorabilia from all eras of Australian military aviation. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring full-scale replicas of early military aircraft, such as the Bleriot, Deperdussin, and Boxkite, as well as original aircraft like the Bell 47 Sioux and the UH-1H Iroquois. The museum also houses a memorabilia room with personal items used by soldiers and airmen throughout their service. An interactive area for children offers a hands-on experience of military aviation. Open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm, the museum provides undercover picnic tables and BBQ facilities for visitors.
