The Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) is a premier radio telescope located at the Paul Wild Observatory near Narrabri, New South Wales. Comprising six 22-metre antennas, five of which are movable along a 3-kilometre east-west track, the ATCA operates across a wide frequency range from 1 to 105 GHz. This array enables detailed studies of phenomena such as star formation, supernovae, and black hole jets. The facility also features a Visitors Centre, offering interactive exhibits and insights into radio astronomy.
