The Atherton Show, held annually at the Atherton Showgrounds, celebrates the rich tapestry of the Tablelands community through competitions, exhibitions, displays, and educational activities. Established in 1904, the show has a storied history, evolving over the years to include a grandstand and oval in 1918, and Merrilands Hall, a unique igloo structure, added post-World War II. The event features a variety of competitions, including livestock, horticulture, arts and crafts, and special competitions. The show also offers a variety of entertainment, including rides, games, and live performances. The 2025 show is scheduled for June 30th and July 1st.
