Arthurs Lake Camp Site, accessible via Gunns Marsh Road, offers a serene retreat in Tasmania's Central Highlands. This popular angling location, east of Great Lake on the edge of the Central Plateau, has good facilities for boat launching and camping. The area is renowned for its excellent trout fishing, with brown trout being the primary catch. The campsite is pet-friendly and can be accessed by caravans and camper trailers with areas suitable for tents. Please note that the campsite is closed during winter due to cold conditions, with high snowfalls and continual rain common in the area during this season.
