These well-preserved traps, listed on the State Heritage Register, are a remarkable example of a spiritual and cultural landscape. The name 'Arrawarra' comes from the Gumbaynggirr words 'Yee Warra,' meaning 'meeting place.' The area continues to be used for cultural activities such as gatherings, storytelling, and collecting resources.
