Armagh is a historic village in the western Clare Valley, approximately 137 km north of Adelaide. Established in 1850, it was initially a mining hub, though the copper mine at nearby Emu Flat ceased operations by 1910. Today, the area is renowned for its wine and olive oil production. The village's heritage is preserved through landmarks like the old brick kiln and chimney, a few remaining houses, and the Miner’s Home Hotel, which now operates as a private museum.
