
The Argyle Homestead Museum, located along Lake Argyle Road, offers a captivating glimpse into the lives of Kimberley's early pioneers. Visitors can explore the 1890s homestead of the Durack family, renowned for their pioneering cattle drive from Queensland to establish the region's first cattle station. Surrounding the homestead, visitors can relax with refreshments and browse a selection of books and souvenirs. Managed by the Kununurra Visitor Centre, the museum is open daily from April to September, 8 am to 4 pm. Entry fees are $7.50 for adults, $4.00 for children, and $15.00 for families.
