
Located at 14 Fifth Street, Ardrossan, the Ardrossan Museum and Information Centre offers a comprehensive insight into the town's rich history. Adjacent to the museum, the Information Centre provides a wide range of tourist information for both Ardrossan and the Yorke Peninsula. The museum, housed in the former powerhouse of the Clarence H. Smith factory, showcases the iconic Stump Jump Plough and other agricultural machinery. Displays also feature photographs, models, and memorabilia depicting the lives of early settlers, the town's maritime history, and its development since 1873. Open seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, except on Good Friday and Christmas Day, the museum charges an entry fee of $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children, with National Trust members admitted free. Entry to the museum is via the Ardrossan Visitor Information Centre.
