Archer camping area, D'Aguilar National Park

Nestled in the northern section of D'Aguilar National Park, Archer Camping Area offers a serene retreat approximately 95 km from Brisbane and 18 km from Woodford. This open, grassy campground features nine numbered sites, each with its own car parking space, accommodating up to six people per site. Facilities include flush toilets, designated fireplaces for campfires (conditions apply), and non-drinking water (treat before use). Access is via two-wheel-drive vehicles from the north through Woodford; from the south, only four-wheel-drive vehicles are suitable. Activities encompass swimming and kayaking in Neurum Creek, bushwalking, and wildlife observation. Please note, mobile phone coverage is unreliable, and camping permits are required.
