Located approximately 180 km northwest of Melbourne, Ararat Wind Farm is a 240 MW renewable energy facility that commenced operations in April 2017. It comprises 75 General Electric turbines, each with a tip height of 135 meters and a rotor diameter of 103 meters. The farm generates enough electricity to power around 120,000 Victorian homes, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Co-owned by Partners Group and OPTrust, it also supports the regional economy through local employment and procurement.
