This 18-kilometer, one-way trail typically takes 6 to 7 hours to complete and is rated as Grade 4, suitable for experienced bushwalkers. The path traverses diverse coastal ecosystems, including Mara Creek, Back Beach, and the shores of Lake Arragan, offering scenic lookouts and opportunities for beach walking, birdwatching, and seasonal whale watching.
