All Souls and St Bartholomew's Church, also known as the Quetta Memorial Cathedral, stands as a testament to the 134 lives lost in the RMS Quetta shipwreck of 1890. Located at 20 Chester Street, Thursday Island, Queensland, this heritage-listed Gothic Revival church was consecrated in 1893. Designed by architect John H. Buckeridge, the church features a high timber ceiling, exposed roof trusses, and stained glass memorial windows. It serves as a focal point for Anglican worship and community activities in the Torres Strait.
