Albany Boat Shed

Nestled along Princess Royal Harbour, the Albany Boat Shed is a historic venue that celebrates Albany's rich maritime heritage. Originally constructed in Fremantle for the Duyfken replica project, it was relocated to Albany's picturesque foreshore, where it now serves as a hub for maritime education, wooden boat construction, and restoration. Managed by the Albany Maritime Foundation, the Boat Shed hosts the vibrant Albany Boatshed Markets every Sunday, featuring local growers, gourmet foods, Great Southern wines, and artisan products. The venue also hosts events like the annual Festival of the Sea, fostering community engagement and preserving maritime traditions.
