AFL Cape York House, located at 65 Buchan Street in Portsmith, Queensland, is a purpose-built boarding facility dedicated to supporting young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women from remote communities. Established in 2013, the boys' facility accommodates up to 52 residents, offering a full-size sporting oval, an undercover basketball court, conference facilities, and self-serve or catered meal preparation areas. The house provides a culturally appropriate, safe, and secure environment, focusing on education, employment, and training opportunities to ensure every student has the chance to reach their full potential.
