Acraman Creek Conservation Park

Acraman Creek Conservation Park, established in 1991, spans 39.53 square kilometers on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. The park features diverse habitats, including the Acraman Creek estuary, ocean beaches, sand dunes, mangroves, samphire, and mallee. It's a vital feeding ground for coastal birds, notably migratory waders like sandpipers and stilts from the Arctic Circle. Visitors can enjoy bush camping, fishing, boating, canoeing, and birdwatching. Access to boat launching facilities at Port Lindsay on Acraman Creek requires a four-wheel drive. A shipwreck from past whaling activity lies offshore.
