Abbotsford House, built in 1877-78 for Dr. Arthur Renwick, a doctor, politician, and philanthropist, is a two-story Victorian mansion located at 2 Abbotsford Cove Drive, Abbotsford, NSW 2046. Renwick named the house in honor of Sir Walter Scott's baronial mansion, Abbotsford, in Scotland. The property features spired cupolas, colonnaded verandahs, and iron-lace balustrading, set within a park-like setting down to the Parramatta River. Over the years, it has been owned by notable figures, including Albert Edward Grace, one of the founders of Grace Brothers, and the Nestlé company. Today, Abbotsford House stands as a significant part of Sydney's heritage, listed on the Register of the National Estate.
