A.S. Perry Reserve, also known as Perry's Bend, is a 16-hectare wetland sanctuary located on River Road in Noarlunga Downs. Established in 2016 after rehabilitation by SA Water, the reserve features interconnected pools that treat urban stormwater before it enters the Onkaparinga River. Visitors can enjoy walking trails along the wetland's edge, picnic areas, and tables. The reserve is named after Alfred Stanley Perry, a local farmer born in 1888. The area was once a sludge lagoon near a wastewater treatment plant but has been transformed into a thriving wetland.
